At 25% ABV—the standard strength for honkaku shochu in Japan—iichiko Silhouette is lower in strength for a cocktail base, yet its flavor and drinkability have earned recognition from bartenders. - Botanical Koji Spirit
- The overall aroma is very gentle, with only a faint touch of refined alcohol on the nose. Fresh fruit notes and delicate floral tones form the main impression, gradually giving way to scents of dried flowers, banana, and apple. On the palate, a soft sweetness unfolds with flavors reminiscent of stewed apple and pear, syrup-soaked peach, and the comforting smoothness of traditional Japanese confections.
